Both the ceremony and reception are taking place at Hakone Gardens, a beautiful Japanese garden in Saratoga, CA. Doors are opening for wedding guests 30 minutes before the ceremony begins, so feel free to come early and explore the garden! There's a bamboo forest, koi pond, tea plantation, and various seasonal blooms. Fun Fact: The movie "Memoirs of a Geisha" was filmed at this location.
Dress to impress! This means slacks and a dress shirt, a dress or a skirt. Please note: the venue recommends not wearing very high heels if you plan to explore the garden because of the uneven gravel path. The wedding is outdoors, so please bring warm layers!
Hakone Gardens has a parking lot large enough to accommodate all guests. Parking is free. If you'd like to carpool, let us know and we're happy to help find you a ride! Uber and Lyft are also easily accessible from the garden entrance.
Outdoors. Dress accordingly!
Although we love kiddos, we've decided to keep the wedding to adult guests (other than the individual children involved in the ceremony). Thank you for understanding.
No, unfortunately the garden has a strict no pet policy. ☹️ (Also, we would probably steal them)
If we have not discussed a +1 already and you would like one, please let us know. We are limited on space, but will do our best to make everyone feel welcome.
